About Us:

We're the Bluebonnet Antique Tractor and Implement Club, a proud group of now more than one hundred individuals and their respective families, all of whom have a common interest in collecting, trading, selling and restoring vintage agricultural equipment in the likes of old farm tractors, a variety of small and large gas hit & miss engines, farm implements and tools that were used back in the days when farming thrived all across this great nation.

Collectively, our members own a wide variety of both known and unknown, and/or rare farm tractors, including John Deere, Farmall and International, Ford, Ferguson, Massey-Ferguson and Massey-Harris, Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline, Case, Allis-Chalmers, Caterpillar, and Avery tractors and related implements just to name a few of the now over several hundred pieces of iron. Several times each year, members gather at different tractor shows, parades and events to display their iron to the public so that  today's generation will never forget the machinery that tilled the vast fields of America to provide the food that fed their ancestors.

Our club, often referred to as BATC, is a relaxed organization that relies on the continued support of its members to be able to accomplish our annual goals. Our meetings are held quarterly, usually on the third Thursday evening of the months of March, June and September at restaurants in and around the Greater Houston, Texas area, and then in early December, we have a Christmas banquet at a restaurant selected by the members. We are a Branch (BR171) affiliate of the Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association (EDGETA), a nationally recognized organization that provides a liability insurance policy in the amount of two million dollars coverage per incident for every member registered with them. As such, we strictly follow their safety rules at all times throughout every event.

New members to BATC are provided with our club's logo window decals and a shoulder patch as well as an EDGETA decal, patch and a membership card that is updated annually when dues are paid. EDGETA show buttons are provided to all members annually as they change every year. Dues for BATC are $20 annually (due no later than March 15th), of which a portion of that amount is paid to EDGETA for the insurance coverage and their membership.

Members also receive an annual events list (which will become an active posting on this website) so that they may pick and choose a variety of local and statewide tractor shows, tractor pulls and related events. Members are not badgered or forced to participate in events although we do like to see them as often as possible.

The BATC base of operations are conducted out of the club founder's home in Pearland, Texas, however many of the members conduct other club business from other locations in the Greater Houston area. In a nutshell, that's what BATC is all about, but should you have questions or want any additional information, please contact us and we will accommodate you.
